Classic & Challenge Try-outs posted by Joe on 2009-05-05 ◊ RVYSA will have Classic ( U-11 up ) & Challenge ( U-12 up ) try-outs on May 28 @ 6 pm @ Chockoyotte with a rain/make up date on June 1. Coaches may also sign up on or before those days. A word from the President… posted by Joe on 2008-08-29 ◊ Welcome back to another exciting season of soccer in the Roanoke Valley. I am hoping the 2008-2009 seasons will be the best in recent memory. As you can see we have an updated, user-friendly, fun, web site. Mr. Rich Lithgow, from RSL Tech.com, and I, have been working on its new format since last spring. That is why the old site was never updated with new information. The new site will have more action pictures of the kids playing soccer, more information about our team sponsors, the Board members and many more features as we dream them up. So, by all means, let me know of things you would like to see our web site have or do to make it more usable for yourself. There is a new section, “My League” where we will have team rosters, schedules, standings, and League Champions pictures! The “Registration” link will have an updated registration form. We might even try to make an electronic registration form. The “Pictures section will be where we will have game pictures, fun pictures, & even old pictures from years past. So, please email me your soccer pictures from the past & see if old friends recognize you!!! The “Board” section has our Bylaws for RVYSA & will have information from meeting topics posted. The “Contact Us” section will give ways of getting in touch with board members and others who volunteer their time for RVYSA soccer. So, let’s enjoy the new season and our new web site. - Joe Mosher
